Accessibility Statement
Last Updated as of Sept 24, 2025.
1. Our Commitment to Accessibility
Wyatt Purp, LLC is firmly committed to the principle that the internet should be available and accessible to everyone. We strive to provide a website that is accessible to the broadest possible audience, regardless of ability, ensuring that all users can have a seamless and equitable experience when exploring our premium, federally legal hemp-derived cannabis products.
2. Conformance Status
To fulfill our commitment, we aim to adhere as strictly as possible to the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at the AA level. These guidelines are the global benchmark for web accessibility and explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide array of disabilities, including blindness, motor impairments, visual impairments, and cognitive disabilities.
Our website is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA, which means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively and continually working to improve this.
Our internal accessibility efforts include integrating accessibility into our internal policies and procurement practices, assigning clear accessibility goals and responsibilities, and employing formal quality assurance methods.
3. Technical Accessibility Features
Our website utilizes advanced technologies to make it as accessible as possible at all times:
•Accessibility Interface: We provide an interface that allows users with specific disabilities to adjust the website’s UI (user interface) and design it to their personal needs.
•AI-Powered Optimization: An AI-based application runs in the background to constantly optimize the site’s accessibility level. This application remediates the website’s HTML, adapting its functionality for screen-readers used by blind users and for keyboard functions used by individuals with motor impairments.
Screen-Reader and Keyboard Navigation
Our website implements ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes and various behavioral changes to ensure blind users visiting with screen-readers can read, comprehend, and enjoy the website’s functions.
•Screen-Reader Optimization: Our AI-driven process learns the website’s components to ensure ongoing compliance. It provides screen-readers with meaningful data, including accurate form labels, descriptions for actionable icons (e.g., social media, search, cart icons), validation guidance for form inputs, and element roles (e.g., buttons, menus, popups). The background process also scans all images to provide accurate, object-recognition-based descriptions as ALT (alternate text) tags and extracts text embedded within images using OCR technology. Screen-reader users are prompted to enter the Screen-Reader Profile upon visiting the site and can turn on these adjustments at any time by pressing Alt+1.
•Keyboard Navigation Optimization: The website’s HTML is adjusted to be fully operable by keyboard. This includes the ability to navigate using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys, operate dropdowns with arrow keys, close them with Esc, and trigger buttons and links using the Enter key. Keyboard users can also access content-skip menus by clicking Alt+2 and use shortcuts such as “M” (menus), “H” (headings), “F” (forms), “B” (buttons), and “G” (graphics) to jump to specific elements.
4. Supported Disability Profiles
Our accessibility interface supports a range of disability profiles:
•Epilepsy Safe Profile: Eliminates the risk of seizures from flashing animations and risky color combinations.
•Vision Impaired Profile: Adjusts the website for various visual impairments like Degrading Eyesight, Tunnel Vision, and Glaucoma.
•Cognitive Disability Profile: Provides assistive features to help users with cognitive disabilities like Autism and Dyslexia to focus on essential elements.
•ADHD Friendly Profile: Significantly reduces distractions and noise to help people with ADHD and neurodevelopmental disorders focus.
•Blind Users Profile (Screen-Readers): Ensures compatibility with popular screen-readers like JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.
•Keyboard Navigation Profile (Motor-Impaired): Enables motor-impaired individuals to operate the website using their keyboard.
5. Additional UI, Design, and Readability Adjustments
Users can customize the website’s design and readability with the following features:
•Font Adjustments: Increase or decrease font size, change font family, and adjust spacing, alignment, and line height.
•Color Adjustments: Select various color contrast profiles (light, dark, inverted, monochrome) and swap color schemes.
•Animations: Stop all running animations (videos, GIFs, CSS transitions) with a single click.
•Content Highlighting: Emphasize essential elements like links and titles.
•Audio Muting: Instantly mute all website audio.
•Cognitive Support: Utilize a search engine linked to Wikipedia and Wiktionary to decipher meanings of phrases and slang.
6. Assessment Approach and Known Limitations
We use a combination of self-evaluation and external evaluation to assess our website’s accessibility, including compliance assessment programs, developer recommendations, and customer feedback.
Despite our best efforts, some accessibility limitations remain:
•Limitation 1: Javascript Slideshow Plugin: This plugin currently has three aria-label issues. As the plugin uses auto-injected scripts, we cannot directly adjust it. We are actively working with our developers to find a solution.
•Limitation 2: Third-Party Shopify Apps: Some third-party apps integrated with our Shopify store are not fully ADA compliant. We are collaborating with our developers and the third-party app companies to resolve these issues.
An estimated completion date for these items cannot be provided at this time. For any assistance related to these limitations, please contact us.
7. Browser and Assistive Technology Compatibility
We aim to support all major browsers and assistive technologies that comprise over 95% of the user market share, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera, Microsoft Edge, JAWS, and NVDA for both Windows and MAC users.
8. Feedback and Formal Complaints
We are continually improving our accessibility features and adopting new technologies to reach the optimal level of accessibility. If you encounter an issue, have feedback, or wish to contact us, please email us at support@wyattpurp.com.
To file a formal complaint, please send an email to support@wyattpurp.com with the subject line “ADA Complaint” or use the Contact Form on our website. We are committed to resolving any issues diligently and in good faith and will provide a formal response within 5-7 business days.
